Children in Africa

Exactly five hours ago in Sydney they crossed the threshold of the new year. Within exactly five hours, in Spain the last bell of midnight will sound and, between hugs, good wishes and kisses, it will start in 2014. We will face it with enthusiasm, with desire and with hope that we can all travel more, with Good health and without economic problems that prevent it. But before looking forward, let's review how it is traditional, and I hope that with a smile, Viajablog travels in 2013.

Quique's travels

Although Quique spent last year celebrated the entry of 2013 on the island of Madeira, on this occasion he will take the grapes - or rather the lemongrass - in southern Italy touring the boot and heel from Bari to Naples.

After Madeira came one of the visits that had long been pending, Lisbon and its beautiful viewpoints to one of the most charming cities in Europe.

He crossed the puddle and made a varied trip through the peninsula of Baja California in Mexico where he enjoyed water activities, car routes through the desert, dodged the best burritos and tasted the authentic tequila on a difficult-to-forget trip well accompanied by José David , the author of the blog Travel, eat and love.

An escape to Istanbul allowed me to wander through one of your favorite cities of the globe in slow motion, moving away from tourist visits and tasting the pleasure of strolling through the local neighborhoods of this mega city that best defines the cultural amalgam of the east and west.

He did not miss visits to France, where he discovered a city like Lille on horseback between Belgian customs and French pride alternating gastronomy, the French north coast and cultural visits such as the amazing Louvre Museum in Lens.

In Paris he avoided the center again and settled in the 13th Parisian neighborhood where he discovered a friendlier, cheaper and more authentic Paris.

He returned to France at the end of the year to enjoy the spectacular Festival of Lights in Lyon where he heated up with vin chaud stray while literally hallucinating with the technological demonstration projected on the most emblematic buildings of the city.

Perhentian Kissing in Malaysia

Three weeks in Malaysia served to disconnect him. He left his cell phone, laptop, 3G and Wi-Fi and got carried away by the sweet Asian tempo. Varying landscapes as it entered the Cameron jungle, the beaches of the Perhentian or Tioman or the bustling streets of Kuaka Lumpur.

He also did not miss weekend getaways to nearby places such as an excursion touring the GR 92 bordering the Costa Brava from Port Bou to Cadaqués, he also gave him to swim among the tunas of the Ebro Delta and a visit to demystify Teruel's absence and tour the beautiful Sierra de Albarracín
